Swim Tech III: Open Water Swim is Well-Fit's 6-week program incorporating pool work, open water swimming, and mental preparation to give you the understanding of open water swimming that you need to complete the swim leg with confidence.
So, leave the kayaks alone this year, and cruise into T1 while there are still plenty of bikes on the racks! You can do it!
Elements covered will include: Brief education of efficient freestyle swimming, proper wet suit handling techniques, proper open water swim techniques including sighting and drafting, timed mile. Three classes will be in a apool for effective coaching of techniques, the rest of the classes will be done in the lake applying what was learned in the pool.
