Well-Fit is owned by Sharone Aharon, an experienced coach and triathlete.
Sharone Aharon, a credentialed triathlon coach and personal trainer, is the Founder and President of Well-Fit Triathlon & Training, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois.
Sharone’s competitive and coaching history expands more than 15 years. Since 1997 alone, he has raced in numerous triathlon events around the world including seven Ironman races, three at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. His coaching career dates back to 1988, focused primarily on endurance athletes and the recent addition of elite athletes
Complementing his competitive and coaching experience, Sharone holds a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education from Zinman College for Physical Education in Israel, and a Master of Science in Exercise Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His academic studies include exercise physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, and behavioral psychology.
In addition, Sharone spent three years working with athletes at the Wingate Research Institute, Israel’s Olympic Training Center. There he studied athletic performance in multiple sports. He is now a Level III Triathlon Coach, certified through the USA Triathlon national governing body.
His coaching mission is to help athletes of all ages and abilities discover their inner potential. Fueled by his own passion for triathlon and sport, Sharone believes strongly in motivating and leading his athletes by example, bringing dedication and excitement to every workout.
A native of Israel, Sharone served as a Special Forces Officer and later spent nine years in the Israeli Secret Service. He has lived in the United States since 1994 and presently resides in Chicago with his wife and two children.
